The Area Community Dental Service run one clinic per week held each Wednesday in Newtownhamilton Health Centre. At other times treatment can be accessed from John Mitchel Place Newry Telephone: (028) 30834220. Dental treatment is provided for children, special needs adults and children. The schools in the area, preschool and primary schools are screened annually as part of the dental service. Domiciliary (home) visits may also be provided when appropriate. Mrs Deirdre Conlon, Dental Officer and Mrs Daphne Calvin, Dental Nurse staffs the service.
