The Health Visitor helps with the health matters relating to the under 5's, e.g. feeding difficulties, hearing problems etc. They can also help with advice on help matters in the elderly.

Community Nursing

The community nurses are available to visit patients in their own homes and carry out-dressings, removal of stiches, injections, advice and care of the acutely ill, chronic sick and terminally ill. Advice in continence pads and other aids.

Psychiatric Community Nurses

The Psychiatric Community Nurses follow up patients after discharge from hospital, are available for counseling, advice on mental health matters, and also instruction in relaxation.

The Women's Health Nurse attends the Well Woman Clinic. She gives advice on health matters including breast examination, contraception and HRT.
